Merlin Group plans to invest Rs 8,000 crore in the next seven to eight years to expand its portfolio across major cities.
At present, 20 million sq. ft. of real estate is under development in Kolkata and its surrounding regions. which is anticipated to double the company's revenue within to over Rs 2,500 crore annually from FY28 onwards. However, its strategic focus is Maharashtra, specifically Pune and Navi Mumbai for potential development. It has also initiated the process of scouting land parcels in these regions.
Merlin is also present in other cities, such as Pune, Chennai, and Bhubaneswar, and numerous projects are already in development stages in Pune, in a move to expand its footprint. Currently, the Group's annual revenue stands at approx. Rs 1,500 crore.
