NBCC (India) has bagged two major government work orders, collectively valued at Rs 120.90 crore, reinforcing its role in the public infrastructure development space.
The first contract involves the construction of a multistoried building to house six courts, including the XI Additional District Court at Gudivada, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh. This project, awarded by the High Court in Andhra Pradesh, is valued at Rs 46.69 crore. The second order is for the construction of a 14-court building complex at Bhimavaram in West Godavari District. This contract is worth Rs 72.17 crore.
In addition, NBCC has also received a separate work order worth Rs 2.04 crore for the upgradation and renovation of the 5th floor of the TEC Building at Khurshid Lal Bhawan, Janpath, New Delhi. This order has been awarded by the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT).
NBCC signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with RailTel Corporation of India on 07 April, marking the beginning of a five-year collaboration to jointly execute data centre projects both in India and abroad. Under the agreement, NBCC will contribute its project management and civil infrastructure expertise, while RailTel will manage IT infrastructure, including installation, testing, and maintenance.
