NBCC has resolved its dispute with the Delhi government over land in Ghitorni, south Delhi, securing a 21.23-acre parcel for development.
The company plans to develop a mixed-use real estate project on the land, with an estimated revenue of Rs 8,500 crore. The settlement follows a long-standing litigation involving a 42.46-acre plot in Sultanpur/Ghitorni village, which will now be equally divided between NBCC and the state government. As part of the agreement, the Delhi government will grant NBCC a perpetual lease deed for the land.
NBCC will also be allowed to develop the land according to the Master Plan for Delhi (MPD-2021), which includes sub-leasing and mixed-use development under the city's zoning laws. NBCC will need to pay Rs 220 crore to the Delhi government as part of the settlement. The development will further boost the company’s real estate portfolio in the capital.
