NSL Renewable Power, the 100 per cent subsidiary of Hyderabad based NSL
Group, has achieved financial closure for its three hydel power projects - with
a combined capacity of 155 MW - being set up in Himachal Pradesh.
The projects entail a cost of Rs 996 crore with a debt-equity ratio of 70:30.
The equity portion of about Rs 280 crore is likely to come from internal
accruals including from the NSL Group.
The company is setting up a 100 MW plant at Tidang in Kinnaur district at an
estimated cost of Rs 650 crore, two units of 44 MW and 6 MW are coming up at
Tangnu Romai with an outlay of Rs 319 crore and a 5 MW plant at Masli for Rs 27
crore.
The Tidang and the 44 MW Tangnu projects are likely to be completed in March
2013 while the 6 MW project will be commissioned by March 2012. The Masli plant
is slated for completion by December 2010.
