Diamond Power Infrastructure has commissioned its horizontal lead extrusion
facility for 66 kV, 132 kV and 220 kV cables as Phase II of its cables expansion
project at Vadadala, Savli taluka in Vadodra district of Gujarat.
Meanwhile, the company is investing Rs 274 crore in expanding the cable
capacity to 500 kV from 1.1 kV at a project in Vadodara. The firm is also
expanding its low tension cable capacity from 8,800 km to 30,000 km per annum
and adding an extra high voltage cables capacity of 2,800 km for voltages up to
500 KV.
Diamond Cables is setting up a facility to make transmission towers at a cost
of Rs 60 crore.
