BGR Energy Systems has inked pact with Hitachi for supply of super-critical
steam turbine and generator, capacities of which will vary from 660 MW to 1,000 MW. A plant to make the
super-critical equipment is also on cards, for which BGR is reportedly scouting
for land.
BGR Turbines Company, a subsidiary of BGR Energy has signed a technical
collaboration agreement with Hitachi, Japan, for super-critical steam turbine
and generator from 660 MW to 1,000 MW.
Another majority owned subsidiary BGR Boiler has signed a technical
collaboration agreement with Hitachi Power Europe GmbH, Germany, for
super-critical boilers from 660 MW to 1,100 MW.
Meanwhile, BGR Energy has submitted bids for two units of 660 MW each for
Suratgarh project and two units of 660 MW each for Chhabra project for Rajasthan
Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam.
