Jindal Power (JPL) is mulling to set up a hydro power project in Nepal at an
estimated investment of Rs 1,500 crore.
JPL plans to set up a 220-MW hydro-power project in Chainpur, Seti, Nepal.
The company has secured a licence and currently, due diligence is on in this
regard. The company is planning to import the power generated from the proposed
plant for India. However, terms and conditions are yet to be finalised.
