The Orissa State Housing Board (OSHB) has chalked out a plan to develop six
housing projects in locations like Rourkela, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Angul.
A plotted development scheme is to come up at Chhend (Phase III) in Rourkela
over 4.417 acre and will have 79 dwelling units for low, medium and high income
group.
The OSHB plans a multi-storied apartment at Dharmavihar and multi-storied
apartment with commercial complex in PPP mode at Ranasinghpur in Bhubaneswar.
While the multi-storied apartment at Dharmavihar is likely to come up over 1.72
acre, the multi-storied apartment with commercial complex at Ranasinghpur is to
be set up on 4.65 acre.
A multi-storied apartment building for lower income bracket has been proposed
at Cuttack which is to come up over 11.383 acre at
Bidyadharpur comprising 1,008 dwelling units.
Besides, a project at Suango (Phase II) in Bhubaneswar and another one at
Angul on PPP basis are also in the pipeline. The Suango project is expected to
spread over 10 acre and the project at Angul requires 6.5 acre.
