Ola founder Bhavish Aggarwal will infuse Rs 2,000 crore investment in his artificial intelligence (AI) firm Krutrim, with an additional Rs 10,000 crore planned for next year.
He launched KritrimAI Lab and revealed that Krutrim has open-sourced its AI models. The firm released its large language models (LLMs) to the open-source community, including Krutrim 1 and Krutrim 2.
Krutrim partnered with Nvidia to deploy India’s first GB200 system, set to be operational by March, aiming to make it India’s largest supercomputer by year-end.
Krutrim has now raised a total of USD 280 million, including USD 50 million from Matrix Partners India in early 2024. The funds were raised through a combination of equity and debt.
