Orissa Hydro Power Corporation (OHPCL), is planning to set up a pump storage power plant at Upper Indravati hydroelectric project in Kalahandi, Orissa.
The proposed project envisages construction of 18 mtr high zoned earthen dam and underground power house having an installation of four reversible Francis turbines of 150 MW capacity each.
The company has invited bids for preparation of DPR for the project. The scope of work involves topographical survey and geological investigation. Moreover, the successful bidder will be responsible for conducting power potential studies and sizing of the power plant.
