Frito
Lay, a subsidiary of Pepsi, and manufacturer of Lays chips and Lehar Namkeen
is planning to invest Rs.25 crore in setting up a potato chips factory at
Pune in Maharashtra. The factory would have a capacity of 3,000 tonnes per
annum (tpa)
This would be the
second such factory of the company – the first being the 6,000 tpa factory at
Punjab.
