Punjab Cabinet Minister for Industry and Commerce, Sanjeev Arora, announced that Pidilite Industries Limited will establish a new manufacturing facility in Rajpura, Punjab, with an investment of Rs 300 crore.

The 31-acre facility will be located in Majri Faqiran and Sohne Majra. The plant will specialize in the mixing and blending of water-based adhesives and waterproofing products, with a total production capacity of 2,00,000 metric tonnes per year. This includes 1,40,000 MT of adhesives and 60,000 MT of waterproofing products. The project is expected to create approx. 300 direct and indirect work opportunities across skilled, semi-skilled, and supervisory roles.

The entire investment will be funded through internal accruals, and the commercial production is scheduled to begin by December 2027. This facility will significantly contribute to the region's industrial growth and employment opportunities.
