Bengaluru-based Prestige Estates Projects has planned a significant capital expenditure of Rs 8,000-10,000 crore over the next two to three years to expand its portfolio in West India, with a primary focus on the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) and Pune.
The company has already launched Rs 25,000 crore worth of residential projects in MMR, with six ongoing projects spanning 8.81 million sq. ft. (msf). In Pune, Prestige owns a 50-acre land parcel and is scouting for new opportunities. CEO Tariq Ahmed highlighted the potential for over 15 new projects in the next two years, aiming to balance residential and commercial growth.
The company's West India team contributes 20 percent of overall revenue, and the company is also keen on redevelopment projects, including slum rehabilitation and society redevelopment. Its focus includes micro-markets in Thane, Navi Mumbai, Goregaon, Borivali, and Andheri.
