On 29 September 2013, Mamata Banerjee, Chief Minister of West Bengal, inaugurated the new mall 'Quest' in Kolkata.
The project has been developed by CESC Properties, the realty arm of the CESC. It is spread over three acre and offers 4.15 lakh sq ft of retail area.
The project has basement, ground + five floors, and 3,28,000 sq ft of multi-level car park for 864 cars and 100 two-wheelers.
The Quest mall, estimated to cost Rs 375 crore, has already roped in leading international stores including Burberry, Canali, Emporio Armani, Estee Lauder, Furla, Gucci, L'occitane, Omega, Paul Smith and Role, to name a few. It also has a six-screen INOX, three screens of 200-plus seats, and one screen of 300-plus seats.
