SWELECT Energy Systems has ventured into the Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) sector with its new NUMERGY product portfolio.
Additionally, the company is set to invest Rs 150 crore to expand its solar module plant in Coimbatore, doubling its capacity to 2 GW by mid-2026. This will include the production of module mounting structures and other essential components.
The product range includes NUMERGY HOME for residential and small office use (1-10 kW), NUMERGY HYBRID for high-consumption homes and small commercial applications (5-20 kW), and NUMERGY HP for larger commercial and industrial needs (30-50 kW). The company plans to adopt an "integration-approach" for these systems, focusing on steady growth based on market demand rather than mass production.
The company is also ramping up its Independent Power Producer (IPP) segment, aiming to grow its capacity from 150 MW to one GW in the next two years. A new brand identity reflects SWELECT's broader energy solutions focus.
