To be installed under Component-B of the PM-KUSUM scheme, the total order value, including GST, is approx. Rs 654.03 crore. The scope of work includes the design, manufacture, supply, transport, installation, testing, and commissioning of the solar water pumping systems, aimed at promoting sustainable and renewable energy-based irrigation solutions in the state. The order emphasizes Shakti Pumps’ growing presence in large-scale solar energy projects and its capability to deliver integrated renewable energy solutions.

The company is expected to complete the project on or before 31 March, 2026. This initiative aligns with the government’s push for solar-powered irrigation to support farmers and enhance water resource management in Karnataka, contributing to a greener and more energy-efficient agricultural sector.
