Shakti Pumps (India) has secured a significant contract from Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam to supply 4,840 stand-alone off-grid DC solar photovoltaic water pumping systems (SPWPS) across the state.
This contract is part of Component-B of the PM-KUSUM scheme and is valued at approx. Rs 170.25 crore, including GST. The project aims to design, manufacture, supply, transport, install, test, and commission these solar-powered pumps within 120 days. The initiative will enhance the state’s rural water management system by providing sustainable and efficient water pumping solutions powered by solar energy.
Shakti Pumps' involvement in this project is a significant step towards promoting clean and renewable energy in India, contributing to the government's efforts to boost solar-powered agricultural solutions under the PM-KUSUM scheme.
