Shivalik Ventures is scouting for investors to fund a slum redevelopment
project in Mumbai.
Shivalik, a JV between Unitech, developer Ramakant Jadhav and Rohan
Lifescapes, is redeveloping a 127-acre slum pocket at Golibar Maidan, Santacruz.
The project, which will have both commercial and residential components, is
being designed by New York based architecture and engineering firm Skidmore,
Owings and Merrill LLP. The project has been delayed, as it is embroiled in
issues related to rehabilitation of the residents and land acquisition.
