Mumbai based Shopper's Stop plans to open 40 new medium and large format
stores pan India in the next four years entailing an investment of over Rs 500
crore.
In the current fiscal, the company is likely to pump in Rs 180 crore for
opening up to 12 stores under the Shoppers Stop brand and four HyperCity
hypermarkets.
At present the company has 32 Shopper's Stop outlets and seven HyperCity
markets.
