Warehouse and distribution service provider, Stellar Value Chain Solutions is planning to add over 10 million sq. ft. to its logistics portfolio in the next two years. To fund the expansion of this scale, it is working to infuse a primary capital of up to Rs 400 crore through the fundraising route in the next two months.

The third-party logistics (3PL) company has released a new ‘request for quotation’ (RFQ) for development either through the built-to-suit format or the ready-to-move option as required. For the latter, it is exploring 21 major cities in the country where Stellar has already established a considerable presence. For built-to-suit facilities, locations across Mumbai, Bangalore, Lucknow, Patna, Guwahati, and few more cities are under active consideration.

The company is pursuing talks with financial and strategic investors to acquire a stake in one of the largest tech-enabled 3PL warehouse and distribution solutions providers in the country. The portfolio growth will be on the back of robust demand from the automobile and consumer segment including fashion, retail, and other categories.

Leveraging its current portfolio of over 16 million sq. ft. spread across 80 properties in 21 cities, it has added over two million sq. ft. in the last one month to manage pan-India supply chain operations for a consumer durable company.

In warehousing space, Stellar Value Chain Solutions has added 1.5 million sq. ft. through distribution centres at Bhiwandi near Mumbai, and 0.5 million sq. ft. at Banur in Punjab.
