Sunita Tools, a leader in the mould base industry and emerging player in defence manufacturing, has acquired a second factory building in Faridabad for its planned expansion.
The new facility will house Line 2 for manufacturing artillery shells. The company has already taken possession of the premises, and installation of critical machinery will begin shortly. Commercial production is slated to start by October 2026, pending timely delivery of three key hydraulic presses. This expansion is a crucial step in Sunita Tools' Defence manufacturing roadmap, and aims to significantly boost production capacity and strengthen the company’s position in the sector.
“This new facility marks a key milestone in our journey towards becoming a major player in Defence manufacturing,” said the company spokesperson.
