Suraksha Group, which took control of Jaypee Infratech in 2024, has completed the construction of nearly 6,000 units across various projects in JIL Wish Town, securing occupancy certificates (OCs) for 3,135 units in 31 towers.
Applications for OCs are pending for 2,854 units in 32 towers. Despite challenges like construction restrictions under the GRAP rules during winter, Suraksha Group remains on track to meet its delivery timeline, with a target to deliver around 20,000 homes by 2027. The company has already completed 63 towers, and construction continues at full pace for the remaining units. "Despite challenges, we are committed to delivering as per the resolution plan," said Jash Panchamia, Executive Director of Jaypee Infratech.
Suraksha plans to invest around Rs 5,500 crore to complete construction of approximately 20,000 homes in Noida and Greater Noida. The resolution plan, approved by NCLAT, also includes compensation to farmers for land acquisition.
