The TIDEL Neo Park at Rakkiyapalayam in Tiruppur district, inaugurated earlier this week by Chief Minister MK Stalin, is already witnessing strong interest from IT/ITeS industries.
Official sources confirm that two companies have taken space in the 65,500 sq. ft. facility, collectively employing around 200 people. Developed under the TIDEL Neo initiative, the Mini IT Park aims to diversify Tiruppur’s industrial base by fostering IT and startup ecosystems.
Situated on 1.77 acres in Avinashi taluk, the lower ground plus seven-storey structure offers built-up space tailored for IT/ITeS firms and new-age enterprises. Warm shell office modules, flexible layouts, and shared amenities provide a business-ready environment for growth.
Officials expect the park to generate employment for over 600 professionals once fully operational. The TIDEL Neo concept emerged as an alternative to SEZ IT parks promoted by ELCOT, which have seen declining investor interest due to the SEZ sunset clause and procedural hurdles for entry, operations, and exit.
