Tamil Nadu Newsprint & Papers (TNPL) has invited bids for obtaining approval from the Directorate of Town and Country Planning (DTCP) for factory buildings under RSPS-2 at its Unit I facility in Kagithapuram, Tamil Nadu.

TNPL operates an integrated pulp and paper manufacturing facility at this location, which plays a key role in the state’s industrial landscape. The scope of work involves preparing and submitting necessary documentation, securing clearances, and liaising with DTCP authorities to obtain statutory approvals for the planned factory buildings. This step is critical for the execution of the RSPS#2 expansion and modernization works at the site, ensuring compliance with regulatory norms and enabling timely commencement of construction activities.

The bid submission closing date is 11 August, 2025. The project underscores TNPL’s commitment to infrastructure development and operational expansion within the framework of legal and environmental compliance.
