Taural India has commissioned its second aluminium sand casting manufacturing facility in Supa, Maharashtra, marking a significant expansion of its advanced manufacturing capabilities in India.
This new facility follows the company’s first plant in Pune and was inaugurated by Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Spanning 30 acres, the Supa plant significantly boosts Taural India's production capacity, enabling it to cater to both domestic and international markets. The plant is designed to meet global engineering and sustainability standards, incorporating automation, digital process controls, and advanced quality systems. It will produce complex, high-tolerance aluminium components for industries such as defence, mobility, aerospace, energy, marine, railways, and industrial infrastructure.
The commissioning of the Supa facility is expected to provide a major economic boost, with over 1,200 direct work opportunities projected, along with additional indirect employment in logistics, services, and local supply chains. This development follows a MoU signed at the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2025.
