On 24 November, 2025, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy inaugurated and laid the foundation for development projects worth Rs 103 crore in Kodangal constituency.

The initiative covers a wide range of civic, educational, and infrastructure works aimed at improving the region. Earlier, Reddy visited the Hare Krishna Mission Breakfast Kitchen Shed, which serves 28,000 students daily across 3,211 government schools. Key projects include the construction of 28 Anganwadi buildings (Rs 5.83 crore), 23 additional classrooms in government schools (Rs 5.01 crore), and 10 Gram Panchayat buildings (Rs three crore).

Significant infrastructure works include road widening in Kodangal town (Rs 60 crore), fire station, community halls, swimming pool, and various public facilities. "These development works will significantly enhance the living standards and educational infrastructure in Kodangal," CM stated.
