Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has invited British companies to partner in the Musi rejuvenation project, an initiative aimed at transforming Hyderabad into a global city.
During a meeting with an official UK delegation led by British High Commissioner Lindy Cameron on 18 September , 2025, CM Reddy highlighted investment opportunities in the pharma and electric vehicle (EV) sectors and the development of the Bharat Future City. Ms. Cameron affirmed the UK’s support, offering cooperation in education and technology. She agreed to provide the prestigious Chevening scholarships to meritorious Telangana students on a co-funding basis and extend training programs for government teachers and professors.
The discussions emphasized fostering long-term partnerships to enhance Hyderabad’s global competitiveness, industrial growth, and sustainable urban development. The meeting underscores Telangana’s efforts to attract foreign investment while advancing infrastructure and knowledge-based sectors.
