Uni Abex Alloy Products, part of the Neterwala Group, will invest over Rs 100 crore to more than double its production capacity of high-performance alloys by FY26.

The brownfield expansion at its facility in Dharwad, Karnataka aims to increase production from 6,000 to 12,000 tonne per annum (TPA). As part of the expansion, Uni Abex is adding a new dedicated manufacturing line, creating two specialised lines. 

The move is designed to meet rising demand from industries such as iron and steel, petrochemicals, fertilizers, aerospace, where high-performance alloys are valued for superior strength, and corrosion resistance. "This investment is a strategic move to address the increasing demand for high-performance alloys, especially as government-led initiatives are driving growth in these sectors," Kuldeep Bhan, Group President – Global Metallurgy Business, Neterwala Group said.
