Usha Breco Realty, part of the Usha Martin Group, has decided to foray into
the affordable housing segment by launching four projects at a cost of Rs 400
crore.
The company is planning four projects in Pune (Maharashtra), Bangalore,
Chandigarh (Punjab) and near Mumbai at a cost of Rs 100 crore each. All four
projects are likely to be spread over four lakh sq ft and will have 650-1,000
dwelling units each.
The projects are to be developed on a revenue-sharing model with partners
that the company has already identified.
The first project is expected to come up near Mumbai and work will be started
in a couple of weeks.
Besides, the company is developing a multi-tenanted IT building in Kolkata
with an estimated budget of Rs 75 crore. It is also working on developing an Rs
175 crore-integrated residential-cum-commercial project at Ranchi in Jharkhand.
