The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is set to commence construction on its first factory complex at the Medical Device Park in Sector 28.
The Rs 115-crore project, spanning 38,665 sq. mtrs., will include 240 plug-and-play industrial units aimed at supporting MSMEs and startups in the medical device sector. The four-storey complex, which will feature shared amenities like cafeterias and exhibition halls, is expected to be completed in 24 months. Abhilasha Enterprises has been selected as the contractor.
The Medical Device Park is part of a larger 350-acre development, which will include multiple industrial complexes across various sectors such as semiconductors, IT, and apparel. Of the 254 industrial plots, 101 have been allotted and 23 lease deeds were signed, but so far 10 companies have received building plan approvals. Construction is underway at seven sites,which includes TI Medical, the park's largest allottee with 11 acres.
