THINK Gas, a leader in India's city gas distribution sector, has entered into a long-term gas supply agreement with Shell Energy India.
The deal, worth USD 350 million, will provide THINK Gas with natural gas from Shell’s portfolio through the Hazira LNG terminal. Abhilesh Gupta, MD and CEO of THINK Gas, stated, “The execution of this long-term agreement builds upon our strategy to diversify our gas portfolio in a complex global environment and offering reliable, flexible, affordable and sustainable solutions to our downstream customers.” The agreement is expected to meet the rising demand for cleaner energy in India’s homes, vehicles, and industries.
THINK Gas, formed through the merger of AG&P Pratham and THINK Gas, is exploring additional partnerships to fuel the country’s growing energy needs. India’s natural gas sector is seeing significant growth, attracting global investments for clean energy initiatives.
