Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, presenting the 2026-27 State Budget on 11 February, 2026, proposed Rs 6,800 crore for enhancing water supply across rural and urban areas.
Under the CM Jal Jeevan Mission, Rs 4,500 crore will be allocated to connect every village household with tap water, while Rs 2,300 crore will be spent on providing drinking water in cities. Additionally, Deputy CM Kumari announced the development of new solar parks in Bikaner and Jaisalmer, with an investment of Rs 2,950 crore.
The Budget also includes provisions for the CM Self-Employment Scheme, offering interest-free loans and grants up to Rs10 lakh to 30,000 youth. Other allocations include Rs 1,400 crore for non-patchable roads and Rs 600 crore for missing link roads.
