The State-Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) in Odisha has granted in-principle approval to four industrial project proposals valued at Rs 9,213 crore.
SLSWCA has directed the Industrial Promotion & Investment Corporation of Odisha (IPICOL) to regularly review the progress of the project proposals, which have been already approved through the single window mechanism.
The four in-principle approved projects are as follows:-
The Mahanadi Basin Power plans to set up a 2x800 MW coal-based thermal power plant in the Sundargrh district with an investment of Rs 11,363.18 crore.
Emami Cement has proposed to set up one 1.50 million tpa capacity cement grinding unit in Begunia with an investment of Rs 401 crore.
My Home Industries’ proposal of setting up 1.50 million tpa capacity cement grinding unit at Kalinganagar was approved and it will come up at an investment of Rs 360 crore.
The proposal by Shri Cement to set up a three million tpa capacity cement grinding unit in Odapada was approved. It is estimated to cost Rs 452 crore.
All the four proposals were approved for meeting the environment and pollution norms.
