The Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) has approved three new
hydro-electric projects in the state.
The power plant would come up at Pooyamkutty (210 MW), Pambar (40 MW) and
Vakkallar (24 MW).
KSEB has also decided to install two 25MVA transformers at the 220 KV
sub-stations at Kanjikkode in Palakkad. Also, the 23 KV sub-station at
Thambalamanna in Kozhikode would be upgraded to 110 KV.
