Hyderabad based Natco Pharma is expected to infuse Rs 100 crore for expansion
in the next financial year.
The company aims to add capacity to its formulation facilities in Dehradun
(Uttarakhand) and Kothur (Andhra Pradesh) with a view to ramp up production.
Natco has already put in Rs 100 crore in its production operations.
The company has a chemical plant coming up in Chennai for an investment of Rs
60 crore. A finished dosage plant is coming up in Kothur, where the company
already has a tablet manufacturing line.
Natco also has set up a dosage plant for cancer drugs, including injectibles
and tablets, in Dehradun while it has an injectibles plant in Nagarjunasagar for
both cancer and non-cancer drugs.
