Chennai based Trivitron Healthcare has formed a JV with ET Medical Devices, Italy, to manufacture and market advanced technology cardiac diagnostic instruments.

The JV - ET Trivitron Medical Technologies - is likely to set up its manufacturing facility at Trivitron's Medical Technology Park at SIPCOT, Sriperumbudur, near Chennai. The plant is expected to be commissioned in the first quarter of 2011. Till then, the existing facility of Trivitron in Chennai will manufacture these products. Trivitron is likely to hold 51 per cent and ET Medical the remaining in the JV.

The JV is likely to promote the solutions under brand Cardiette-Cardioline. It will manufacture cardiac diagnostic instruments including ECG systems, stress test ECG, holter ECG, ABPM recording units, monitoring systems and telemedicine IT solutions.
