Bhilwara Energy has chalked out a Rs 10,000-crore investment plan to set up
four hydel power projects with a total generation capacity of around 1,200 MW in
the next three to four years.
The company is mulling to raise up to Rs 3,000 crore through various routes,
including hitting the capital market, to part finance the projects.
The company proposes to set up four projects - two in Nepal, one each in
Punjab and Arunachal Pradesh. Of the four, the plant in Punjab is to have a
capacity of 85 MW. The one in Arunachal will generate 900 MW, while the two in
Nepal will have a total capacity of 170 MW.
