Janaadhar Constructions on 8 April 2010 unveiled an affordable housing project - Janaadhar Shubha - in Attibele in Karnataka.
The project spanning across 12-acre is likely to cost around Rs 100 crore. It
received a $2 million (approx Rs 9.3 crore) grant from the Michael and Susan
Dell Foundation in 2008 primarily to buy the land. The company has also tied up
with Central Bank of India for project construction finance.
The company plans to develop about 1,140 units under the project in phased
manner. In the Phase I, about 530 units are to be developed with completion
slated for June 2011.
The project is to comprise amenities such as primary education centre,
primary healthcare centre, retail and commercial spaces, children's play area,
24-hour water supply, power back-up and round-the-clock security.
