The Madhya Pradesh Housing Board has unveiled a plan to construct more than
2,000 housing units for various economic strata.
Construction work is likely to commence in 2010 and few of them will be
completed before end-2010. Of the total, 640 units are to be constructed in
Bhopal, 800 in Jabalpur, 650 in Rewa, 200 units in Indore on Rau road, 162
units in Ratlam, 70 housing units in Ashok Nagar, 143 units in
Satna, 45 units in Parasia (Chhindwara),
174 at Maharajpur locality in Jabalpur and 366 units in Khandwa.
The houses are likely to have at least two-to-three bedroom accommodation and
few projects will have facilities like reception lobby, parking for visitors,
entertainment houses, clubs, nursery and primary schools and much more.
