Insolation Green Energy, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Insolation Energy, has received a letter of intent (LoI) from Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam (JVVNL) for executing a large-scale solar power initiative under the PM-KUSUM Component A Scheme. The LoI covers the design, survey, supply, installation, testing, commissioning, and long-term operation and maintenance (O&M) of grid-connected solar power plants at 58 distinct locations across Rajasthan.
The agreement also includes laying 11 kV lines to connect the plants to various 33/11 kV substations and implementing a remote monitoring system (RMS) for effective plant performance oversight. The combined solar capacity from these 58 sites totals 109.79 MW. The projects will be implemented through the Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) model and maintained for a period of 25 years from the commercial operation date (COD).
The levelised tariff is finalised at Rs 2.55 per unit for 51 sites, Rs 3.037 per unit for six sites, and Rs 3.04 per unit for one site, ensuring competitive power supply rates. This win further strengthens Insolation Green Energy’s position in the renewable sector and reflects its commitment to advancing India's solar energy goals through reliable, decentralized power solutions.
