The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited bids for the construction of a new four-lane Sambalpur bypass under NH(O) in Odisha.
The work stretches from km 0.000 to km 35.384 and is be executed on the hybrid annuity model (HAM) with an estimated value of Rs 1,086.73 crore. The project aims to decongest traffic in and around Sambalpur by providing a modern, high-capacity bypass which will improve connectivity and reduce travel time for commuters and freight movement.
Once completed, the bypass is expected to enhance road safety, facilitate smoother vehicular flow, and support economic growth by improving access to key industrial and mining belts in Odisha.
The bid submisison closing date is 13 October, 2025.
