AM Group, supported by the founders of Greenko Group, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Uttar Pradesh government to build a USD 25 billion Artificial Intelligence (AI) compute hub in Greater Noida.
Announced at the World Economic Forum 2026 in Davos, this facility will be one of the largest investments in India’s digital infrastructure. The project is set to handle global AI workloads and will be built in phases, with the first stage expected to be completed by 2028. By 2030, the hub aims to reach its full capacity of one gigawatt, housing around 500,000 high-performance chipsets. The facility will provide crucial computing power for tech companies, research labs, and support India’s AI ambitions.
A key feature is its sustainability, as the hub will run entirely on carbon-free energy, combining solar, wind, and pumped storage power. Chairman Anil Chalamalasetty emphasised, “Evolution of global AI ecosystem will be pivotal for future generations.”
