Adani Group and Brazilian aviation giant Embraer have announced a strategic partnership to set up a regional aircraft manufacturing facility in India.
This collaboration aims to enhance air connectivity to smaller cities and strengthen India's position as a key hub for regional aircraft production. As part of the agreement, a final assembly line (FAL) will also be established for assembling Embraer’s regional aircraft in the country. The initiative is expected to involve progressive technology transfer, skill development, and the creation of a robust supply chain.
Embraer, known for manufacturing commercial jets with up to 150 seats, will collaborate closely with Adani Defence & Aerospace on this project. The move marks a significant milestone for Adani Group, as it expands into aircraft manufacturing. The partnership comes at a time when India is experiencing rapid growth in its civil aviation sector.
