Adani Power has been shortlisted to develop four coal based power projects in Kosovo, South Africa and Nigeria.
With the total capacity of 3,792 MW the four overseas projects entail an investment of Rs 19,000 crore. In Kosovo, the company has to develop Kosovo e Re power plant, a 600 MW project which can be increased to 1,200 MW. In South Africa the company is planning to develop a 600 MW plant, besides which there are two other projects in Nigeria, having a total capacity of 1,992 MW. Also, Adani Power will be renovating a 678 MW (Kosovo B) and MDO of Sibovc South Mine in Kosovo.
