Adani Power
Maharashtra, a wholly owned subsidiary of Adani Power, is in the process to
revise the cost of critical equipment for its upcoming Tiroda coal based power
project, which could reduce the investment by 10 per cent.
The 1,980 (3X660MW)
Tiroda coal based power project in Gondia district of Maharashtra is being
executed by Adani Power. It is learnt that the boiler, turbine and generator
package for the project is to be supplied by Sichuan Machinery and Equipment
Import and Export of China. In the current economic slow down, Adani is likely
to revise the cost with the Chinese contractor, which is expected to reduce the
project cost by Rs.800 crore.
Adani Power is
developing the super critical coal-based power project at an estimated outlay of
Rs.5,500 crore.
