Adani Total Gas has submitted a proposal for the laying of a 12-inch diameter steel natural gas pipeline along a section of NH-161 in Maharashtra.
The pipeline is proposed to be laid from km 2.943 to km 12.200 on the left hand side (LHS) and from km 2.866 to km 2.943 on the right hand side (RHS), and also includes underground crossings at km 2.943. This proposal has been reviewed and recommended by the Project Implementation Unit (PIU), as outlined in the reference letter, for approval by the Competent Authority or Highway Administrator.
The pipeline installation is part of the broader four-laning project of the Akola-Medshi section of NH-161, which spans from km 0.000 to km 47.700 in Maharashtra, and is being executed on an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis.
