Rudra Gas Enterprise has secured a contract from Bengal Gas Company , a joint venture of GAIL and GCGSCL, with a fax of acceptance (FOA) dated 24 January, 2026 received.
The contract is valued at Rs 24.,7 crore, and involves two main components: steel pipeline laying works under the Kolkata Gas (Phase-IV) project on an Arc basis for a duration of two years. The second part is laying, testing, and commissioning of underground steel pipeline, along with associated works, in the North 24 Parganas and South 24 Parganas Districts (Part-A), and Kolkata Municipality Areas for a two-year period.
This contract also supports Bengal Gas Company’s continued efforts in improving the region’s gas distribution network, and marks a key step in expanding the gas infrastructure in Kolkata and surrounding areas.
