Adani Total Gas (ATGL) has secured a contract from the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) for a 500 tpd bio-CNG plant in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Under the contract, ATGL will be responsible for designing, building, financing, and operating the plant on a public-private partnership (PPP) model.
The company has announced an investment of Rs 18,000 to Rs 20,000 crore over the next eight to 10 years to augment infrastructure for retailing CNG to automobiles as well as providing piped gas to households and industries.
ATGL, a joint venture (JV) of Adani Group and French energy firm TotalEnergies has 460 CNG stations in the country, and now seeks to expand its network of CNG stations as well as the pipeline network.
