Adani container terminal at Kamarajar port in Ennore is expected to be commissioned by May or June 2017.
The container terminal will go on stream after a delay of six months due to heavy damage to terminal equipment caused by the Vardah cyclone on 6 December, 2016.
The equipment in the terminal, which was set to be commissioned on 15 December, 2016, had to be completely repaired.
The 730 mtr facility was built at an estimated project cost of Rs 1,270 crore and will have an annual capacity of 1.40 million TEUs.
