Taking its four-decade collaboration to the next level, Ador Welding has shone forth by meeting Nuclear Power Corporation of India’s (NPCIL) criteria of welding materials matched to the highest level of accuracy and quality.
Ador Welding has thus become the first Indian supplier to meet specific technical requirements set by NPCIL for welding consumables, as guided by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
All the processes, from procurement to manufacture and testing, have followed the strictest regulations. The welding solution emerged through a single allotted heat, enhanced XRF analysis, and Spectrometer testing techniques, for consistency, homogeneity, metal performance and longevity.
These have resulted in reduced costs and delivery timelines, which will enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Further, the milestone reflects the company’s commitment to the ‘Make in India’ initiative in developing indigenous manufacturing capabilities in the country and driving innovation in the nuclear power sector.
